Knight Foundation's Kebbel named dean of journalism college
Gary Kebbel, journalism program director for the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, will be the new dean of the the UNL CoJMC. He will assume the dean's post on July 1. Charlyne Berens has served as the interim dean since July 1, 2009.
UNL home to ABC News On Campus
CoJMC is the new home to one of six ABC News On Campus news bureaus beginning this fall. The program is sponsored by the ABC television network's news division. Students' work will be featured across all ABC platforms.
Nebraska recession photo project
CoJMC photojournalism students turned their cameras on Nebraska's economy this summer. Their stories and photos can be viewed on the photojournalism

The front pages of U.S. and foreign newspapers are on display on the second floor of Andersen Hall. The front pages gallery gives visitors an up-close look at how the rest of the U.S. and world reported the presidential election. Past exhibits covered the September 11 terrorist attack and the death of President Ronald Reagan. The College of Journalism is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The exhibit is FREE and open to the public.

As a result, the CoJMC can offer you additional learning opportunities in coming years.
